Lisa LaRae McEntire was born February 14, 1960, in Mesquite, TX, the daughter of Paul Weldon and Peggy Earlene (Hicks) McEntire. She passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, at her residence in Overbrook, OK, at the age of 65.
 
Lisa was a lifelong area resident. She attended school in Marietta, OK. Later in life Lisa decided to further her education and in order to do so, she had to earn her G.E.D. Once she obtained it, she continued her education at Murray State earning her associates in May of 2008 and her bachelor's in human services counseling in May of 2011. Lisa was co-owner of Paul's Place with her father. She loved working alongside her father and socializing with the customers she assisted throughout the years. Lisa was a very competitive pool player. She played with a pool league that competed in the World's Largest Pool Tournament in Las Vegas, NV.
 
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and some cousins.

Those left to cherish Lisa's memory are her cousins, Randy Hicks, Lyndal Hicks, Tony Hicks, Robin Hicks, Gaither Hicks, Vickie Presley, Cindy Hicks, Glenda Daniel, Steve Reed, Rene Miller, Shane Hicks, and Dwain McEntire; and aunt, Linda Hicks.
 
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Marietta with Pastor Steve Skinner officiating.

Interment will follow at the Jimtown Cemetery under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
 
Casket bearers Randy Hicks, Robin Hicks, Gaither Hicks, Tony Hicks, Joshua Hicks and Dustin Hicks. Honorary bearers are Lyndal Hicks, Steve Reed, and Shane Hicks.
