Services for Geraldine Kaye Hicks Gorley, 60, of Marietta were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 30 in the Burneyville Baptist Church with Brother Jim May officiating.

Interment followed in the Jimtown Cemetery.

Born November 8, 1954 at Jimtown, the daughter of Gerald and Minnie Blakley Hicks, she died Friday, December 26, 2014 in Elmbrook Home, Ardmore. Ms. Hicks returned to Love County five years ago to make her home. She had previously been a resident of the Duncan area where she was an apartment manager. Geraldine loved doing things outdoors. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Manuel Hicks in 1967.

Survivors include her son, Christopher Morris of Sulphur; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Jeff Willis of Lebanon; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Nolen and Betty Hicks, Marion and Vonqueta Hicks and Dewey and Donna Hicks, all of Burneyville and Joel and Sandy Hicks of Leon; five grandchildren; special friend, Roy Gorley of Marietta and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers were nephews, Mike Hicks, Jeff Hicks, Gerald Hicks, Clayton Christian, Allen Hicks, and Thomas Hicks. Honorary bearer was the family dog, Tinky.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice c/o Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, 100 East Main Street, Marietta OK 73448.
