Interment followed in the Jimtown Cemetery.
Born January 10, 1949, at Jimtown, the daughter of J.C. Power Jr. and
Ruby Smith Power, she died Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at her
residence.
A 1967 graduate of Turner High School, Alice had been a resident of Love
County all of her life. She was a homemaker who loved playing Farkle
with her children and grandchildren as well as dominos and marbles.
Alice and Don Bloomer were married at Falconhead on September 17, 1998,
and he preceded her in death on December 12, 2010. Alice was a member of
the Jimtown Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father,
J.C. Power, Jr. on February 1, 2008; and son, Jimmy Hartman on November
15, 1995.
Survivors include her mother, Ruby Power of the home; son and
daughter-in-law, Jackie and Donna Hartman of Wilson; daughter, Melissa
Howard of Lone Grove and fiancé Bob Grady; two step-daughters, Donna
Amos and husband Mark of Whitesboro, Texas, and Darla Bloomer of Norman;
special friend, Martha Parsons of Marietta; eight grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were grandchildren, Lindsey Culwell, Michael
Culwell, Brittley Hartman, Justin Lance, and Logan Hartman, and dear
friend, Steve Lance. Honorary bearers were great-grandchildren, Blaine
and Blakelyn, and Mike Artique, Jimmy Williams, and the staff of Cross
Timbers Hospice.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice, 207 C St.
NW, Ardmore, OK 73401.
