Jack began this life June 6, 1943, in Batson, OK the son of Robert “Bob” and Georgia (Williams) Hartman. He grew up and attended school in Leon, OK, graduating with the class of 1961. Jack married the love of his life Gloria Janeane Brintle on June 16, 1962, in Marietta. They lived most of their married life in Love County and were long-time members of the Rubottom Baptist Church.

Jack loved hunting and fishing and just “hanging out” with friends and family. He loved hanging out so much that he opened The Waiting Room in Leon. It was the place for everyone to come and enjoy good times and good conversations together.  Jack was also known to sit down over a friendly game of dominoes and tell a few stories as well. He will be remembered as the ultimate storyteller.
