Geraldine Ann "Jerri" Reece, age 82, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024, in Ardmore.

Graveside services were held at 9 a.m. Friday, August 23 in the Greenville Cemetery. Pastor Steve Skinner and Pastor Derrick Lumpkin officiated.
 
Jerri was born in Madill on July 29, 1942, to Jepthy Dickson and Audra (Sampson) Dickson. She attended Madill School and later received her GED in 1978. She married Sylvesta Roy Reece Sr. on August 18, 1956, in Gainesville, Texas. She followed her husband throughout his work in the oilfield. In 1972 they settled in Overbrook, where they have lived since then. She worked at Stuckey's, Pizza Hut and the Cookie Factory and retired from Greenville Schools, where she worked in the cafeteria. Jerri loved her church, the gospel and was a member of Solid Rock Church.
 
Jerri loved to cook and bake for her family and others. She also enjoyed reading, canning, sewing, crocheting, and visiting with people.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jeffrey Reece; brother, William Ben Dickson; sister, Glenda McCurtain; and grandson, Sylvesta Roy Reece III.
 
Jerri is survived by three daughters, Corliss Johnson, Audra Lee Tate and husband Billy, and Peggy Grooms and husband Paul; son, Sylvesta Roy Reece Jr.; honorary son, Mark Fuston; one daughter-in-law, Elsa Reece; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
 
Casket bearers were Dustin Hicks, Joshua Hicks, Jerry Hicks, Damian Fellabaum, John Roy Black, Tony Rodriguez, Colton Rodriguez, Ethan Lowery, and Paul Grooms.
