George Robert Reigh

BIO:

Birth: Jul. 6, 1895 Death: Dec. 26, 1922

S/O James D. Reigh and Maggie (Greathouse).

Death Date Source: Georgia (Reigh) Landrum, daughter of George Robert and Mary Melinda (Willingham) Reigh, June 8, 2009.

"My dad was an oil field worker as many of my family members were. He was killed in an accident at work. At that time, my mother was pregnant with me, my brother Earl was 5 1/2 yrs. old and my brother Bill was 2 1/2 yrs. old. My dad died on December 26, 1922 and I was born the following February 1923. My mother was a very strong person and though she only had an 8th grade education, she worked very hard to raise her family and never re-married. She had such strong faith and was a person that everyone loved dearly. The tombstone for my father was put in place many years after he died and the death date is incorrect. His correct date of death is Dec 26, 1922. Of this date, I am sure."

Spouse: Mary J Willingham Reigh (1897 - 1968)*

Children: Earl Dane Reigh (1917 - 2004)* William C. Reigh (1920 - 1966)*
