Services for Willa Lucille Lang, Pauls Valley, were Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Eastman Baptist Church. Officiating was Rev. Wayne Howard.

Mrs. Lang was born February 14, 1910, in Ragtown, and died January 9, 1993, in the Colonial Nursing Home in Pauls Valley. She was the daughter of William Morgan and Pearl Keller Burch.

A resident of Pauls Valley for 2-1/2 years, she had previously lived in Ardmore for many years. Mrs. Lang had worked as a cook at Meadowbrook and Turner Schools and at Lake Murray Lodge. She married Claudie R. Lang in Marietta on January 12, 1927. Mrs. Lang was a member of the Abner Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include three sons, Wendell D. Lang of Paoli, Cletus W. Lang of Lindsay, and Claudie R. Lang, Jr. of Weatherford; two daughters, Nelda J. Benefield of Odessa, Texas; and Linda L. Pope of Oklahoma City; 13 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lang was preceded in death by her husband on March 6, 1947; a brother, Mack Burch; a sister, Dallas Frazier; a grandson, Bill Lang; and two great-grandsons, Bryce Dolan and Jeramiah Johnson.

Interment in the Eastman Cemetery was under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers were Don W. Lang, Darrell L. Lang, C. David Lang, Roger K. Benefield, Marty D. Lang, J. Scott Hicks, and Mark A. Lang.
