Celebration of the homegoing for Randy Gaines, 53, of Gainesville, TX, will be held Friday, June 12, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Dunbar Cemetery, Dunbar Community of Love County, OK, with Elder Samuel Huff officiating. Services under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta, OK. 
 
Born February 12, 1967, in Gainesville, the son of R.C. and Lillie Rose (Hornbeak) Gaines, he passed away at Baylor, Scott & White Hospital in Dallas, TX on Tuesday, June 2, 2020.
 
Randy attended Turner School in Burneyville, OK and Gainesville High School. In school he enjoyed playing basketball. Randy worked in Emergency Medical Services and then in 1996 he became an over-the-road truck driver until his health failed him in 2014. Randy married Chris Dionne Johnson-Gaines on September 10, 1999, at the Cooke County Courthouse in Gainesville and through this union they had a beautiful daughter, Briana.
 
A few of his interests were listening to gospel music, riding motorcycles, and spending time with family. Randy was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Denton, TX.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, aunts, and uncles.

Survivors include his wife Chris D. Gaines of Gainesville; daughter, Briana Gaines of Gainesville; sister, Lisa Kay Gaines of Gainesville; brother Ronald Gaines of Lawton, OK; and numerous aunts and uncles. 
 
Honorary bearers are Rodney Douglas, Chris Anderson, Brent Coleman, Greg Gaines, Craig Gaines, Wallace Willis, and Stevie Smith. Flower girls are Lisa Gaines, Ella Huff, Stella Smith, and Briana Gaines.

Time of visitation will be Thursday, June 11 between 11 A.M. and 5 P.M. at the funeral home.
