Walter began this life on July 24, 1965, in Sulphur, OK, the son of James and Mary (Carlile) Lytle. On October 9, 1986, Walter married the love of his life, Sherrie Cavitt in Burneyville. They recently celebrated 38 years of marriage.

Walter worked several years for the City of Marietta as a trash truck driver. He could fix just about anything with an engine and was often working on anything from lawnmowers to racing cars. Not only did he like to work on cars, but he also liked to watch car and drag races. Walter enjoyed the outdoors and going on fishing and camping trips. He also enjoyed going on cruises and taking trips to the beach. Walter enjoyed many things, but nothing as much as he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered as the family guardian and protector as a father figure to many.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Curtis Jones and Orville Lytle; father and mother-in-law, James and Sue Cavitt; and sisters-in-law, Oma Jones and Barbara Churchill.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sherrie; children, Susie Lytle, LaCasie Lytle, and Kristy Lytle; grandchildren, Alexus Jacks, Dallas Lowery, Haylen Lowery, Avery Lowery, Nora Lowery, Aninyus Lytle, and Mini Lightning Lytle; great-grandson, Albert Jeremia; brothers, J.C. Jones and James Lytle; sisters, Ona Newport and Angela Trusty; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Casket bearers are J.D. Harris, Jon Duke, James Cavitt, Curtis Jones, J.C. Jones, and Shiloh Cavitt. Honorary bearers are Mike Smith and Oran Welch.
