Services for Carol Ann Lee, 54, of Burneyville, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, in the Harvey-Douglas Centennial Chapel, Ardmore.

Interment followed at the Burneyville Cemetery.

Born July 25, 1954 in Gainesville, Texas, the daughter of Howard Francis and Euna Jane Carter White, she died Thursday, February 26, 2009 at her Burneyville residence. She and James Kirby Lee were married in April of 2000 in Gainesville.

Mrs. Lee had been a resident of Burneyville most of her life. She was the assistant director of nurses at the Countryside Nursing Home in Pilot Point, Texas. Mrs. Lee loved fishing, gardening, camping and most of all spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was a member of the Burneyville Baptist Church.


Survivors include three sons, Thomas Shane Smith of Jimtown, Jimmie Dee Davis and Leslie Lavern Knisley of Ardmore; a daughter, Angela Dawn Gillespie of Ardmore; mother, Euna Jane White of Jimtown; 10 grandchildren, Courtney Paige Buenting, Thomas Kyle Buenting, Daniel Mason, Lacey Smith, Kalie Davis, Tommy Smith, Logan Knisley, Damian Gillespie, Troy Knisley and Dominic Gillespie; four brothers, Raymond White, Howard White Jr., Michael White and Keith White of Jimtown; and two sisters, Francis Savage of Madill and Lynda Damron of Jimtown. 


She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Francis White and a granddaughter, Sheley Gillespie.


Pallbearers were Nick White, Nathan White, William Shane Davis, John Doughty, Jeremy White and Shane Holley.
