Born May 6, 1965 at Floydada, Texas, the daughter of James William and Sue LaJune Kittrell Cavitt, she died Tuesday, March 19, 2019, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.
A 1982 graduate of Marietta High School, she then received an Associates Degree in Phlebotomy from Murray State College, Tishomingo, in 2000. Barbie was a member of the Thackerville Church and later attended Vanguard Church in Marietta. She loved praise and worship, singing and being with family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Tabatha Churchill.
Survivors include three daughters, Jamie Guzman, Jennie Stephens and Sarah Smithers; a son, Zechariah Churchill; two brothers, James Cavitt and Daniel Cavitt; three sisters, Sherrie Lytle, Kimberly Cavitt and Jody Harris; and 13 grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sherrie Lytle, Pamela Neu, Carolyn Hogan, Jody Harris, Kimberly Cavitt and the staff of Cross Timbers Hospice.
