Zion Cemetery

Marilyn Klingaman, 73, of Orlando, OK, passed away on September 28, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Services have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Perry and a celebration of Marilyn’s life is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Mulhall Baptist Church. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery at Orlando.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 2-6 p.m. and Marilyn’s family will receive guests from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

The daughter of Ab Cook and Nellie Fay (Wilkinson) Dunagan, Marilyn was born April 23, 1943 in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

She and Karl Klingaman were married in 1961 and they shared 55 wonderful years of marriage on their farm near Orlando, Oklahoma.

Marilyn loved traveling around the country with Karl in their fifth wheel camper, visiting friends and family, boating and fishing. She enjoyed wildlife, scenery and God’s creation. One of her favorite hobbies was collecting and polishing rocks that were collected in Colorado and recently, coloring pictures for her grandchildren. Above all, Marilyn’s favorite thing to do was spend time with her beloved family and friends.

She is survived and was loved by her husband, Karl Klingaman; children and their spouses, Tracy Klingaman (Leslie), St. Charles, MO, Troy Klingaman (Shelly) Savoy, IL, and Crystal Casteel (Micheal) Stillwater, OK; grandchildren, Bailey Klingaman, Garrett Klingaman, Landon Klingaman, Gabrielle Klingaman, Kadyn Casteel, Korbyn Casteel and Kyzar Casteel; siblings, Evelyn Henderson, Midwest City, OK, Paul Dunagan, Jack Dunagan and Richard Dunagan, all of Guthrie, OK, Carol Standfill, Del City, OK, and Connie Lyles, of Missouri, and many loving nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Wallace.

Marilyn had a generous heart and spent her life serving others in the role of farm wife, Momma, Grandma and Aunt Marilyn to many people, whether they were related or not.
