Ruth Nell Wesley
(May 10, 1925 - January 10, 2012)

Ruth Nell Wesley was born May 10, 1925 in Nowata County, Oklahoma to Albert and Eliza Franklin. She passed away January 10, 2012 in Guthrie, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years.

Ruth helped build airplanes in Tulsa as a Rosie the Riveter during World War II. Ruth married Charles Wesley on June 30, 1946, he preceded her in death in 1996. She was a farmer’s wife and helped Charles on their farm for many years. Ruth was an active member of the First United Methodist and she enjoyed sewing and quilting.

Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Dudek and husband Jerry of Mulhall, OK; son, Ben Wesley and wife Donna of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; grandchildren, Julie and Kenny Widener, Scott and Heather Dudek, and Madeline and Amelia Wesley; great grandchildren, Gail, Tiffany and April Dudek.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Abernathy Aaron Funeral Chapel in Crescent with Gene Owen officiating. Burial will follow in the Victor Cemetery.
