Gary John Winn was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma on September 11, 1955 to Elladean (Murphy) Winn and John Keith Winn. He passed from this life on October 4, 2021 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Gary graduated from Guthrie High School in 1973 and worked various jobs throughout his life including Autoquip and the oil field. He enjoyed welding, working with steel and was a state-certified Master Welder. For the past 23 years he worked as an independent contractor delivery driver for NAPA Auto Supply.

His interests included working on hot rods and motorcycles, watching motorsports, science fiction, family genealogy and spending time with friends and his dog Stormy. He was knowledgeable in many subjects and enjoyed playing Trivial Pursuit with his friends. He was a good friend and teacher to those who knew him.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, John Keith Winn.

He is survived by his mother, Elladean Winn of Guthrie and his sister, Linda Winn of Edmond, Oklahoma.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 8, 2021 at Summit View Cemetery with Chaplain Gene Owen officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 North 1st St., Guthrie, Oklahoma 73044.

Visitation will be held Thursday, 12:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.
