Gertrude Faye Warren was born January 21, 1934 to Carl and Irene Biggs in Crescent, OK. She went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2008. She married Manford Leland Warren on June 21, 1952. Faye was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed time in her garden but most of all with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Leland of the home; three daughters, Charolett and Randy Roby, Clara and Gerald Duehning, and Christina Gilliam; one son, Berry and Flo Warren; twelve grandchildren, Chris and Amber Roby, Lindsey Roby and Travor Herman, Larry and Patty Duehning, Mike and Nancy Duehning, Matt and Deanna Duehning, Kyle and Tanya Walker, James and Dannita Duehning, Sarah and Mathew Kohler, Mathew and Annette Curtis, Brett and Teresa Huffer, Brian Huffer, and Willie and Ashley Gilliam; sixteen great-grandchildren; four sisters, Edna and Melvin Lenard, Marie and Barney Smedly, Lela and Wilbur Chandler, and Jean and Jim Weidner; two brothers, Charles and Imogene Biggs and Loyd Biggs; two sisters-in-law, Doris and Don Boston and Alice Woodard-Winters; and brother-in-law, Max and Darlene Warren.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Cecil and Carl; and two brothers-in-law, George Woodard and Leon Winters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 12, 2008 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Robin Grueser of Free Methodist Church of Guthrie and Reverend Curtis Robertson of Edmond, OK officiating. Burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie. At the family’s request, memorials may be made to Free Methodist Church, 1120 West Mansur, Guthrie, OK 73044. Condolences may be emailed to smith-gallo@sbcglobal.net.
