Funeral services for Wyatt Alexander Usey, 12, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 4, 2010 at First Assembly of God Church, Guthrie with Reverend Don Gatlin and Pastor Dale Usey officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Wyatt was born on August 14, 1997 in Corpus Christi, TX to Shane M. and Carrie L. (Pence) Usey. He passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2010 in Guthrie.
Wyatt attended First Assembly of God Church and Guthrie Public Schools and also participated in the Special Olympics for several years.
He is survived by his parents, Shane and Carrie Usey and brother, Christian M. Usey of the home; grandparents, Mike and Sue Pence of Terlton, OK and Daniel and Beverly Usey of Thibodaux, LA; aunts and uncles, Deon Gibbs and Barbara Strunk of Kellyville, OK, Mona Gibbs of Guthrie, Tammy and Andy Warlick of Shawnee, OK, Shawn Pence and Kara Castor of Vici, OK, Bryan and Barbara Usey of Thibodaux, LA, Vanessa Usey of Raceland, LA, Dale and Trudy Usey of Lewisburg, WV, Melanie and Max Halliburton of Corpus Christi, TX, and Troy and Tracy Usey of Thibodaux, LA; and numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday until 8:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made in Wyatt’s name to The Children’s Center, 6800 N.W. 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK 73008.
