HENRYETTA - The funeral for Darrel Wayne Uselton, 44, will be at 11 a.m. today at the First Christian Church in Guthrie. The Rev. Tom Parker will officiate. Burial will follow in Summit View Cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home, Guthrie.

The casket will be open at the funeral home until 9 a.m. today.

He was born Oct. 25, 1949, in Oklahoma City to Frank and Susie Uselton and died Monday, Sept. 5, 1994, at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa. He had spent most of his working life as an engineer with the Santa Fe Railway. He also was a farmer and had worked in the oil industry.

Surviving are his wife, Kathryn of the home; two sons, Darrel Thomas Uselton and Michael Leon Uselton, both of Perry; his mother, Susie Uselton of Guthrie; four brothers, Frank and Kenneth, both of Edmond, Monty of Guthrie and Jack of Houston,Texas; two sisters, Johnnie Bross of Guthrie and Joyce Carter of Louisville, Ky.; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, July 16, 1970.
