Marshall Leon Tucker
Born: October 19, 1946
Died: January 26, 2008

Born October 19, 1946 in Crescent, OK Marshall (Leon) Tucker passed away January 26, 2008 at Camp Hope, Baghdad, Iraq. He served his country as a Marine from April 1966 to March of 1970 earning several medals and awards. He was a successful businessman who took pride in helping others. For the last four years, he has volunteered his services in Iraq with the same dedication as he would have here at home, earning numerous credentials and awards. Preceding him in death was his dad Marshall Tucker of Guthrie. As a loving and devoted husband, daddy, grandpa, brother, son, and friend to many, he leaves behind his beloved wife of 25 years, Bobbi Tucker of Guthrie, children Michael Tucker and wife Collette of Guthrie, Josh Wyrick of Guthrie, Craig Tucker of Norman, OK, Cyndi Craven and husband Jeff of Midwest City, OK, Christina Gillespie and husband Robert of Guthrie, his mother Elva Tucker of Enid, sister Vivian Thompson of Enid, brothers David and Robert Tucker of Guthrie, Alvis and Ricky Tucker of Enid, seven nephews, ten nieces, four grandchildren, mother-in-law Bettye Thompson of Oklahoma City, OK, sister/brother-in-law Debbie and Mark Binion of Oklahoma City, as well as many other family and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Guthrie under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Monday 8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Condolences may be emailed to smith-gallo@sbcglobal.net.
