Kenneth Ray Stout died on Feb. 2, 2001. He was born in Logan County on June 29, 1938 to Otis D. and Grace A. (Brown) Stout. He graduated from Guthrie High School in 1956.
On October 23, 1959 he and Donna Bentley were married at the First Christian Church in Coyle. Two sons were born to he and Donna: Kenton Mitchell and Kim Michael.
Kenneth was a lifetime resident of Guthrie. Together, he and his wife established and ran a greenhouse business, Stout's Greenhouse. They have been in business for 38 years.
He was a loving husband, wonderful father and grandfather, farmer, business manx and believer in God.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otis D. and his mother, Grace; two brothers, Eugene and Donald.
Survivors include his wife, Donna; two sons, Kenton Mitchell and Kim Michael and their wives, Dana and Donella; and six grandchildren, Zachary, Krisha, Kimberly, Kaylah, Keely and Kaitlyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lakeview Baptist Church Building Fund, 5420 Ellie Mae, Guthrie, OK 73044, or the American Heart Association or Diabetes Association.
Funeral services will be held at Bible Baptist Church on South Division in Guthrie at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 5, 2001. Burial will follow at the Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Friends may call at Smith Funeral Home, Sunday from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m, and Monday from 8:30 a.m. until 12 noon.
