Stephanie Gayle Smith, 33, passed away Friday, December 19, 2015. She was born January 4, 1982 in Oklahoma City, OK to Gerald and Marsha Gayle (McConnell) Stevens.
Stephanie was a graduate of US Grant High School. She and Brandon were high school sweethearts. They moved to Guthrie in 2007 where they loved diving headfirst into the community activities. Stephanie could always be found with 3 sets of feet walking with her. She enjoyed being at the school volunteering in the office always smiling at all she met. Sporting events were a part of her life. She truly treasured her job as a Mother, wife and friend.
She is preceded in death by John Westey Taylor.
Stephanie is survived by her husband, Brandon of the home; daughters, McKenzy, age 12, Kaydence, age 11, and son Decan, age 7; her mother, Marsha Taylor of Oklahoma City; her father, Gerald Stevens and Kara Gardener of Oklahoma City; grandparents, Karen and Jim McConnell of Tuttle, OK; her sisters, Anne Stevens and Mindy Stevens, both of Oklahoma City; and her nephew, Cameron Lawrence. She is also survived by her in-laws, Scott and Diana Frith of Choctaw, OK; brother-in-law, Austin Smith and wife Kimberly of Yukon, OK and their daughters, Matilea and Katilea; Weston Frith and wife Amber of McCloud, OK and their daughter, Weslee and son, Kase as well as the many friends she met along the way.
Her life and love ran deep. She showed her love by making little gifts that she made for all occasions.
Stephanie lived her life with God being the center role model.
We will all miss her deeply!
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at First Christian Church with Karen Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
