Keith Simmons The Guthrie Daily Leader Saturday, February 9, 1918 Submitted by: Bob Chada
Kieth (sic), Little son of Edgar and Abba E. Simmons, was born November 18, 1913 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was called to be with Jesus on Saturday, Feb. 2, 1918. Little Kieth was a twin and the joy of the household. He was laid to rest in Summit View cemetery, Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
In Memory
A sweet precious bud came form Heaven
Just four short years ago.
For a while we love and cherished it,
Then Jesus said, "Not so.
I have among thee chosen,
A place prepared above
For darling, precious little Kieth (sic)
In the Kingdom where all is Love."
Our hearts are torn and bleeding
But we know His way is best,
We bow to His will and thank Him,
For the promise of rest, sweet rest.
