Irene J. Sigl, age 88 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away October 30, 2016. Irene was born on January 1, 1928 in Loyal, Oklahoma to Simon and Rose (Ronspicz) Wilczk.
Irene graduated from Loyal High School. She married Daniel "Dan" Sigl on November 26, 1947 in Loyal. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and Sooner Good Sam's.
Survivors include her 5 children, Linda Scannell and husband Tony of Meridian, Debbie Hurley and husband Ted of Guthrie, Karen Wright and husband J.R. of Crescent, Daniel Joseph Sigl and wife Nancy of Guthrie and Paula Brittian and husband Larry of Guthrie. She is also survived by her sister Alice Boeckman of Okeene, 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dan on February 10, 2014, grandson Mike, great grandson Coby and 15 brothers and sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 3, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. James Wickersham officiating. Burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM.
