Helen Marie Short
Born: December 19, 1938
Died: November 04, 2015

Helen Marie Short, 76, was born December 19, 1938 in Seward, Oklahoma, to Paul and Pearl Kiespert. She passed away November 4, 2015, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She graduated from Guthrie high school in 1958 and married Franklin Short the same year. She lived in and around Guthrie most of her life.

She is survived by three children, Timothy Short of Oklahoma City, Tamara Smith and Todd Short both of Guthrie, and husband Franklin, plus 15 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sisters Marva Lingerfelt, Mary Stroud, Pauline Smith, Silvia Kiespert, and one grandson.

Helen, a homemaker, love the Lord, enjoyed life, loved her family especially the many siblings, Children, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

Graveside Funeral services will be held at Summit View Cemetery, November 9, 2015 with a memorial service at a later date.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 3-8:00 P.M..

Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.
