Jerry Don Richardson

Jerry was born on September 23, 1939 in Dos Palos, California to Jack and Tennie (Mann) Richardson. Jerry was raised around Chickasha, OK.
He was a graduate of Pocasset High School. He joined the Air Force in 1961. He married Beverly Dale on November 20, 1961. He moved to Guthrie in 1971. Jerry worked for Cooper Cameron for 35 years, before retiring. He loved fishing, going to the lake, also spending time with the family.
Jerry is survived by his wife Beverly of 54 years, of the home; one son, Kendall Richardson of Guthrie, OK; one daughter, Terri and husband Michael Friday of Guthrie, OK; three grandsons, Cody Short of Coyle, OK; Brandon Friday of Guthrie, OK; and Caleb Friday of Guthrie, OK; one great-grandson, Jaxson Short of Coyle, OK; one sister, Barbara Barcheers of Bradford, AR; father-in-law, Vic Wasson of Chickasha, OK; two brother-in-laws, Bill Clifton of Rush Springs, OK; W.A. Graves of Chickasha, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry is proceeded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law, three sister-in-laws, one sister, and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 14, 2016, at the Bible Baptist Church, Guthrie, with Robby Robbins officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 11:00 AM-8:00 PM.
