Austin Clay Richardson was born on September 25, 1988 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Rodney and Myra (Stone) Richardson. Austin passed away on February 17, 2019 in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the age of 30.
Austin attended Guthrie Public Schools and graduated from Guthrie High School in 2007. He attended college at the University of Central Oklahoma and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in May of 2012. Austin owned and operated A & J Services in Guthrie and worked as a drug screener. He attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond.
Austin loved golf, playing fantasy football, his dog Murphy, and traveling. Austin attended the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, England. He was an avid OU Football and Oklahoma City Thunder fan.
Austin is survived by his parents Rodney and Myra Richardson of Guthrie, girlfriend Megan Dutton of Edmond, Oklahoma, grandparents Melvin and Mary Stone of Guthrie, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Billy and Fonnie Richardson.
Services will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Christian Church in Guthrie with Katrina Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M and Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.
