Funeral services for Pearlene "Pearl" Reece, 77, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Robby Robbins officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers including Greg Reece, Jason Reece, Brian Reece, Chris Reece, Larry D. Lawson, and Mike Lawson. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Roden, Sr., Rob Roden, Kevin Reece, and Collin Reece. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Pearl was born on June 7, 1932 in Lawton, OK to W.E. and Lulu M. (Stephens) Lawson. She passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010 in Guthrie.
Pearl was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons Tom Reece and wife Debbie, Sam Reece and wife Sharon, and Mike Reece and wife Kathy all of Guthrie; two brothers Larry Lawson and Roger Lawson both of Guthrie; two sisters Lois Jay of Guthrie and Esther Lovelace of Weatherford, OK; and ten grandchildren.
Pearl is preceded in death by her husband Dan in 1997, one granddaughter, one great-grandson, three brothers, and two sisters.
Visitation will be held at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home on Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
