Graveside memorial services for Michael Glen Reece, 61, of Guthrie, OK, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 27, 2015 at Summit View Cemetery with Pastor Robby Robbins officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Michael was born September 14, 1953 in Lubbock, TX, to Daniel Thomas Reece, Sr. and Pearliene (Lawson) Reece. He passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 in Oklahoma City, OK.
He married Kathy Roden on January 31, 1974 in Guthrie and to this union, 2 children were born.
Michael worked as a cement finisher. He was very well loved and had many, many friends and was a great father, husband, and brother. Michael was saved and baptized June 1, 1997 at Bible Baptist Church where he was a member. He was also a member of the Guthrie VFW.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy of the home, his son, Kevin Reece and wife Mandy of Perry, OK, and two daughters, Kari Reece and husband Adam Brown of Guthrie and Natasha Ellis and husband Ricardo of Oklahoma City. Michael is also survived by his grandchildren: Riley, Ricky, Kenny, Renae, and Ramone. Also surviving him are his brothers, Tommy Reece and wife, Debbie and Sammy Reece and wife, Sharon, all of Guthrie as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation.
