Funeral services for Gayle Dean Redman, 57, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 14, 2008 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Dr. Dennis E. Clark of First Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Gayle was born on April 16, 1951 in Guthrie to Welton Jack and Velma (Lumley) Dodd. She died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Gayle married Max Redman on May 27, 1980 in Eureka Springs, AR. She was a cosmetologist most of her life and was a member of the First Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband of twenty-eight years, Max Redman of the home; one son, Lee Redman of Guthrie; two sisters, Jackie Dodd and Joyce Waddell both of Guthrie; two nephews, Johnny Waddell and wife Shelly of Stillwater, OK and Steve Waddell and wife Diana of Guthrie; three nieces, Beth Seifert and husband Marc, Brenda Reub and husband Bill all of Guthrie, and Sarah Dodd of Long Island, NY; and numerous great-nieces, great nephews, and friends.
Gayle is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister, one brother-in-law, and one sister-in-law.
Visitation will be held at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 2 pm. – 8:00 pm. on Sunday, July 13, 2008. At the family’s request, the casket will not be open at any time. Condolences may be emailed to smith-gallo@sbcglobal.net.
