Mass of Christian Burial for Martha "Marty" Ann Privette, 79, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 12, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Reverend Denis Hanrahan officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Marty was born on December 20, 1930 in Guthrie to Henry Earl and Emma Irene (Elder) Privette. She passed away on Monday, March 8, 2010 in Guthrie.
Marty was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of the Americas and a past member of the Logan County Genealogy Society.
She is survived by one daughter Carmen Kelley of Edmond, OK; one brother George Earl Privette and wife KarAn of Guthrie; three sisters Faye Elston of Guthrie, Kathy Grace of Tulsa, OK, and Earleen Reedy of Avant, OK; two grandchildren Patrick "Ike" Kelley of Edmond and Elizabeth "Beth" Kelley of Seattle, WA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Marty is preceded in death by her parents and one son Garvin Randall Gibson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the International Myeloma Foundation, 12650 Riverside Drive, Suite 206, North Hollywood, CA 91607 or Oklahoma League for the Blind, Oklahoma City Community Foundation, P.O. Box 1146, Oklahoma City, OK 73101-1146.
Visitation will be held at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home on Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
