Betty Jean Price, age 87, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on November 17, 2015 at her home. She was born on July 7, 1928 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to George and Iva (Place) Cranford.
Betty graduated from Tulsa Webster, she married William "Bill" Price on May 24, 1974 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She had lived in Guthrie since 1979 and previously lived in Davenport, Oklahoma. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids, cooking and sewing.
Survivors include her 7 children, Mary Lynn Schaffer of Owasso, Ricky Gene Hildebrant and wife Phyllis of Stroud, Karen Sue Hildebrant of Guthrie, Janice Michelle Runquist and husband Randy of Knoxville, IA, Michael Fred Hildebrant of Guthrie, LeAnn Riley of Guthrie and Gary David Simons of Guthrie. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband William "Bill" Price in 1995, 2 sons, Charles Eugene Hildebrant II and James Russel Jones, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie with Pastor Don Riepe officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
