William "Bill" Fred Nierman, 95, formerly of Midwest City, OK passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Bill was born on September 2, 1925 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Ernest and Freda Nierman. Bill attended Guthrie schools and graduated from Guthrie High School.
He served his country in the United States Army from 1950-1952. Bill enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting and was a great father to his children as well as a husband to his wife of over 40 years, Erma, whom preceded him in death.
Bill retired from Tinker Air Force Base in 1983 where he worked in supplies.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Donna Howerton and her husband, David; 18 Grandchildren and many Great and Great-Great Grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Nedra Carnes and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Erma; son, Everett Carnes and daughters, Shirley Horne and Wanda Ferris.
Graveside services to remember Bill will be on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie, OK. Services are placed under the care of Barnes Friederich Funeral Home, Midwest City, OK
