Keith McConnell

Keith R. McConnell known to family and friends as "Bob" or "Mac", was born In Dickinson, ND on December 31, 1944. He passed away in Oklahoma City, OK on October 10, 2016.
Bob received his Bachelor of Science degree from Central State College in Edmond, OK. He served in the US Marine Corps from October 3, 1966 to August 31, 1970. He then served in the U.S. army until March 31, 1989. Bob served as a Photographic Interpretation Specialist during Vietnam, and his career in the U S Army. He served his country proudly at home and abroad, including time in Vietnam and in Germany.
After his career in the military he worked until retirement for the U.S. Veterans Administration in Austin, TX.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Keith and Margaret McConnell. He is survived by his sisters, MaryAnn Rodgers, Kathy Collins, Maureen Morgan, Rosie McConnell and Nancy Kimble and a multitude of family who loved him dearly.
Graveside funeral services were held Friday October 14, 2016 at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Services were under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
