Mrs. Mayes Dies
Funeral for City Woman Will Be Monday
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah E. Mayes, 86 year(s) old, will be conducted at 10:30 p. m. Monday from the Free Methodist church, with Rev. Ed J. Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Summit View cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral home.
Mrs. Mayes died late Thursday at her home, 915 W. Logan av, after a long illness.
Survivors include three daughters and one son, R. F. Mayes, of Guthrie; Miss. Ida Mayes, of the home address; Mrs. J. D. Laudriault, of Ketchum; and Mrs. Theodore Brown, of Oklahoma City.
Mrs. Mayes came to Oklahoma from Missouri in 1900, settling on a farm 12 miles southeast of here. She moved to Guthrie in 1908, living here for the remainder of her life.
