Funeral services for Ralph Randall Marquardt, 65, of Guthrie will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie with Rev. David Nolen of First Southern Baptist Church of Guthrie officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Guthrie.
Ralph was born on Aug. 3, 1938, in Guthrie to Paul and Anna Marquardt. He died Thursday at Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Ralph served in the Air Force and he then worked at Tinker Field, Midwest City. He married Carolyn Sue Mahnke in 1961. After retirement he farmed and loved to go on trips in his fifth wheel camper.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of the home, one son Trevor Marquardt of Guthrie, one sister-in-law, Margaret Marquardt of Del City, and a close family friend, Eric Abrahms of Belle Chasse, Lous, and many friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Otto Marquardt.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday until 8 p.m.
