Patsy Mahar

Patsy Kay (Pati Shipman) Mahar, born January 27, 1953, went to be with her Lord, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday morning, December 14, 2010, with her family by her side.
She is survived by her husband, Paul, children, Aaron Fike of Stillwater, OK, Gregory Mahar of Oklahoma City, OK, Sarah (Mahar) Hillian and husband James and grandson, Jacob, of Norman, OK, her father, Leroy (Pa) Shipman, and mother-in-law, Goldie Mahar, both of Guthrie, OK, sister, Bertha Harraman, and husband Gene, of Guthrie, brother, Jim Shipman, and wife Cynthia of Claremore, OK, sister-in-law, Nancy Montgomery, and husband Buddy of Guthrie, Alvia Fike, father of Aaron, of Woodward, OK and many well-loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Norma Ruth (Eubanks) Shipman, in 2005, an infant sister, Norma Lee Shipman, in 1945 and father-in-law, Melvin Mahar, in 1993.
A celebration of Pati's life will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2010, at the First United Presbyterian Church in Guthrie, OK.
At the family's request, the casket will not be open at any time.
Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
