Funeral services for Ralph E. Lovelace, 66, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2009 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Reverend Don Echols of New Life Baptist Church, Ponca City, OK officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Ralph was born on June 10, 1943 in Guthrie to Murdock and Margaret (Burns) Lovelace. He died Saturday, October 10, 2009 in Cleveland, OK.
Ralph loved to fish and was always known to be a "sharp dresser".
He is survived by one daughter Tammy Surell Lovelace of Dallas, TX; one grandson Brandon Lovelace of Dallas, TX; one granddaughter Jasmine Carlock of Dallas, TX; one brother Willie Lovelace of Topeka, KS; one sister Gloria Gordon and husband Ronald of Ponca City; and one niece Jacinda Lovelace of Topeka, KS.
Ralph is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Marian Lovelace in 2000.
Visitation will be held at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home on Thursday, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
