Audrey Mae Lalicker

Audrey Mae (Dilley) Lalicker died Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Logan Medical Center, Guthrie, OK. Born May 17, 1926, in Goodwell, OK, she was the daughter of Emma Louise (Kendrick) Dilley and Charles Dewey Dennis Dilley. The family moved after a few years to the Guthrie area where Audrey met and married John Elmer Lalicker in 1942. She was a woman with many interests—she worked for years as a beautician, crocheted countless afghans and doll dresses, did textile painting, created ceramics, and raised numerous breeds of dogs, cats, and exotic birds. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Audrey was preceded in death by her husband John, daughter Judith Tucker, one brother, one sister, one niece, and one nephew. She is survived by her son Lee Lalicker and wife Ann of Virginia; her daughter, Su Waner of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren Debi Walton and husband Chris of Idaho, Tami Kiser and husband Curt of Tennessee, Karen Lalicker and Cindy Frye of Virginia, Robb Waner and wife Sharon of Tulsa, Angela Waner of Tulsa, Lt Cdr David Daniel Waner and wife Tanya of Japan, Chaunta Morgan of Guthrie, Jim Tucker and wife Shirley of Guthrie, John Tucker of Guthrie, and Tina Stegall and husband Billy of Edmond, OK. Audrey is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren: Taylor Kiser, Alex Kiser, Sarah Kiser, Claire Walton, Cruz Walton, Ashley Waner, Alex Waner, Alyssa Waner, Natasha Waner, Veronica Waner, Shawn Sewell, Shambry Martin, Shandel Stout, Matthew Tucker, Logan Tucker, Bailey Tucker, Austin Tucker, Catherine Tucker, Erin Tucker, Zachary Stegall, and Blake Stegall. Three great-great-grandchildren also survive her: Evan Sewell, Kaden Stout, and Alex Martin. Additionally, Audrey leaves behind her sister-in-law Viola Dilley and many nephews and nieces including Ada Dilley and Lou Dilley of Guthrie.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2009 at First Christian Church with Dr. Dennis E. Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 (www.diabetes.org)
