William Frederick Klingler, Jr.

Born: January 08, 1931

William (Bill) Frederick Klingler, Jr. was born January 8, 1931 in Oklahoma City, OK, to William Frederick and Opal (Madison) Klingler, Sr. He passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 in Oklahoma City.

He grew up and graduated valedictorian from Mulhall High School. He entered the Air Force in 1951 serving 22 years. Upon retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1973, William moved back to Guthrie, OK.

William liked all sports especially the Chicago Cubs. He was a fan of Sammy Sosa and even though Mark McGuire wasn’t a cubby he was his fan as well. Bill played and excelled in basketball in his high school years.

He loved to travel and was full of energy. He connected with everyone, especially with children. We are grateful for the love, energy and humor he brought into our lives.
