Some people only walk this Earth for a short amount of time and their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. Linda Jones, at the young age of 55, gained her wings on July 17th, 2020.
Linda had a compassionate spirit, whose passion was caring for others. After graduating high school, Linda received a degree in Nursing. Linda worked many years at Stillwater Medical Center as an LPN then went on to teach nursing students, all while taking care of family, friends, and people that crossed her path. This family, and her role as a Mother and Grandmother, was the most important thing to Linda. This is where she drew her strength and left her legacy. Being with her family is what Linda loved most of all. No matter what obstacles she faced, her love, and caring for her family, remained her focus, and in so many ways, she was able to show that love to us. Linda’s love for her family is a powerful lesson for us: Keep your priorities straight. Love and care for your family. Let them know, in all the ways you can, you love them.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Chelsea; son, Michael; father, George; mother, Maureen; sisters,Tracy and Hazel; grandchildren, nieces, as well as great nieces and nephews.
