Funeral services for Sarah M. Fullerton, 86, of Guthrie, were held at Smith Memorial Chapel, Friday, Feb. 5 at 2:30 p.m., Dr. Larry Stevens of Noble Avenue Baptist Church, Guthrie, officiating. Burial was in Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Guthrie.
Sarah was born April 28, 1917, in Guthrie to Naman and Sarah Elizabeth Rose. She died Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie.
She is survived by one daughter, Rosa Lee Jones and her husband Charles E.; three sisters: Alice Lee Thomason, Colorado; Helen Justa Jones, Guthrie; and Eunice B. Griffin, Guthrie; four grandchildren: Cathy and Claud Trout; Carol and John Flynn; Doris and Tim Ashcraft; Charles Jones, Jr.; and Wendy, all of Guthrie; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Sarah was a member of the Noble Avenue Baptist Church, Guthrie, Guthrie Chapter # 12 Order of the Eastern Star and the A. A. R. P.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Fullerton.
