John Francis Flynn

John Francis Flynn was born on July 9, 1962 in Chicago Heights, IL to Edward Joseph and Helen Marie (Hogan) Flynn. He left this earth on May 9th, 2012.
John is survived by his parents, brother Don Flynn of Illinois; Sister Anne Brady of California; Sister Nancy Ferrinni of Illinois; his wife Carol Flynn and five Children, Joshua Hooper of Carrolton, Texas; Sarai, Rachel and Robert Flynn of Guthrie, OK and Elizabeth Flynn Neuhold of Lamar, Colorado. He was a proud grandfather to Hailey, River, and Alexis.
John was a small machine mechanic until he was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease in October of 2006. When he was no longer able to do repairs he went to work as a supervisor at his daughters' school, Grace Covenant Academy. John was an amazing man, a great father and a good friend. He touched the lives of all that he met, and he will be missed.
Services for John will be held Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Grace Covenant Church in Guthrie, OK at 10 am with burial to follow at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie. Service under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
