Bentley Jackson Evans, age 7 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away January 27, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Bentley was born on December 15, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Nathan and Jacquelyn (Eichler) Evans.
Bentley lived in Guthrie all his life. He was a first grade student at Charter Oak Elementary School in Guthrie and attended Lighthouse Lutheran Church in Edmond. He enjoyed Pokemon, coloring, drawing, playing video games, baseball, soccer, basketball, going on vacation with his family, and playing with his sister Paisley and his friend. Bentley also loved going to school and giving hugs.
Bentley is survived by his parents Nathan and Jacquelyn of the home; grandparents Bobby and Janet Evans of Guthrie and Lori and Don Eichler of Edmond; aunts and uncles Robert, Stephen, Patricia, Kimberly, Joe and Beau, Donnie, Christy, Bobby and Kelly, Bryan and Milynda, Chelsea and Cobey, Jared and fiancé Sierra; great grandmother Jeanette Howell; great grandfather Don Jackson; and many cousins. Bentley was preceded in death by his sister Paisley Evans, aunt Melissa Evans, cousin Carson Nyte, great grandmother Darlene Hollis, great grandfather Leon Howell and John Eichler, and great grandparents Charles and Jane Garringer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Community Church (512 E. Seward Road, Guthrie) with Pastor John Punni of West Guthrie United Methodist Church and Pastor Peter Balaban of Lighthouse Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery.
A candlelight vigil will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 7:30 P.M. at Community Church.
