Robert Alan English

Graveside funeral services for Robert Alan English, 58, of Checotah, OK will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie, OK with Adrian Brown officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Robert was born on June 4, 1954 in Guthrie to Kenneth Lee and Beatrice (Lentz) English. He passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 at his home in Checotah.

Robert married Mary Machtolff April 20, 1972 in Guthrie. He was a business owner throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years Mary English of the home; father Kenneth English of Guthrie; four sons Michael English of McAlester, OK and Josheb English and wife Amanda, Javan English, and Matthew English and wife Mattie all of Checotah; four grandchildren Symone, Colton, Kodi, and Giana; and one sister Jenny Nelson and husband Joe of Stillwater, OK.

Robert is preceded in death by his grandparents, mother Bea, and sister Susan.
