Betty Ellen Endecott
(June 12, 1948 - October 1, 2007)
Betty Ellen Endecott died October 1, 2007 in Guthrie, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 3 months and 19 days. She was born June 12, 1948 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Roy and Flora (Short) Fent. On July 3, 1970 she married Gary Endecott in Brownsville, Texas. Betty was a member of the Oak Valley Baptist Church in Crescent. She played the organ and taught Sunday School at Nobel Ave. Baptist Church and also at Oak Valley Baptist Church for many years. Her hobbies included, crocheting, sewing and going to Branson to see the Baldknobbers Jamboree every year since 1970.
Survivors include, her husband, Gary of the home; one son, Nicholas Ryan Endecott of Crescent; one step son, Wilbur Lee Endecott and wife Gwen of Dover; one step daughter, Lori Burpole of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren, Justin Endecott and wife Jennifer, Jacob Webber and wife Samantha and Kaitlyn Endecott; one great grandson, Hunter Dawson Webber. She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Julie Dawn Endecott and by one grandson, Jonathan Burpole.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 4, 2007 Graveside at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie, with Rev. Mike Channel officiating. Services are under the direction of Abernathy – Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial be made to the American Diabetes Association.
