Bobby Joe Edens
Graveside funeral services for Bobby Joe Edens will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Bobby passed away on April 5, 2008 after a brief battle with cancer.
Bobby was born on January 24, 1931 to John and Helen Edens in Guthrie, OK.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Betty Harold of Salt Lake City, UT and Beverly Senters of Guthrie.
Bobby married Ruby L. Mason on August 31, 1956.
He proudly served his country as a CW3 – Chief Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruby of Guthrie; one sister, Barbara Wyse and husband Troy of Chandler, OK; four children, Bobby Chris Edens and his wife Renee of Houston, TX, Carole Lee Apala and her husband Brett of Guthrie, John Dewayne Edens of Lawrence, KS, and Kelly Jean Outhouse and her husband John of Calumet, OK; two aunts, Velda Sears and her husband Raymond of Guthrie and Stella Burgess of Guthrie; one sister-in-law, Leta Sell and her husband Bob of Riverton, WY; four granddaughters, one grandson, one great-granddaughter, one great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
