Johnny coached his own children as well as many others in little league football, baseball, and softball for many years. Whenever he was not golfing, watching OSU football, or fishing off his pontoon boat on the Lake of the Arbuckles, he enjoyed going to the senior dances.

Johnny was a people person and never met a stranger. He loved sharing stories and jokes with friends and family.

He is preceded in death by son Kenneth, his parents, and brothers Melvin and Bob. He is survived by his wife Millie of 57 years, daughter Kandy of Dallas, son Keith and wife Katrina of North Richland Hills, TX, daughter-in-law Judy of St. Louis, MO, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sisters MaryAnn Kulick of Oklahoma City and Dorothy Hasler of Guthrie, brother Jim of Edmond, and many nieces and nephews.

On May 4, 2012, Johnny left us to join his Lord and Savior.
