Funeral services for Lynol Paul Cooper, 67, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Liberty Church with Pastor David Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Paul was born May 14, 1940 in Granite, OK to William D. and Dorothy (Savage) Cooper. He died Monday, April 21, 2008 in Guthrie
Paul married Etta Sue Williams on September 20, 1968 in Oklahoma City, OK. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957-1960. Paul retired form the General Motors Assembly Plant in 1998. He was a member of Liberty Church and was a master model ship builder.
He is survived by his wife, Etta Sue Cooper of the home; one son, Brian Rowell and wife Staci of Guthrie; three daughters, Sherri Schuler and husband Lindsey of Yukon, OK, Linda Skinner and husband Stephen of Guthrie, and P.J. Lineberger and husband Jayce of Lanexa, KS; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bobby Joe Cooper.
Visitation will be held at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. At the family’s request, the casket will not be open at any time. Condolences may be emailed to smith-gallo@sbcglobal.net
