Funeral services for Mrs. Geneva Mae Fowler Clift, 87, of Gilmer, TX will be held at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at White Oak Baptist Church, White Oak, TX with Reverend Michael Heim officiating. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie, OK. Mrs. Clift passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2010 in Gilmer.
She was born on September 14, 1922 in Guthrie, OK to Lawrence C. and Prudy Wileman Fowler. Mrs. Clift worked as a riveter for Douglas Aircraft in Oklahoma City, OK during WWII, was a homemaker and member of White Oak Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Lindy Clift of Gilmer; daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Michael Hart of Union Grove, TX; daughter, Vicki Clift of Union Grove; grandchildren, Crystal and Todd Boyett, Kim and Brandon Stone, Buddy and Summer Clift, Nikki and Glenn Pepper, Frank Perry Clift, Jessica and Lee Polk, Jackie Sue Hart and fiance’ Michael Terry, Jason Hart, Joe Hart, Jenny Hart; nine great grandchildren; Trenton Boyette, Kayla Boyette, Raelyn Peel, Brandon Stone, Jr., Waylon Clift, Ashley Pepper, Blake Polk, Jolee Polk, and Madison Hart; and her special friend, Aline Steele.
Mrs. Clift was preceded in death by her husband, Perry H. Clift; son, Perry Lee Clift; daughter, Judy Clift Myers; brothers, George Fowler and Charlie Fowler; and sister, Ruby Campbell.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, TX and Friday, August 27, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home in Guthrie.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
