Funeral services for Lois Pagella Cahill, 91, of Guthrie, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at Smith Memorial Chapel with Dr. Dennis E. Clark of First Christian Church of Guthrie officiating. Burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Lois was born on Oct. 18, 1914, in Navina, Ok., to Frank B. and Emma E. (Cupp) Anderson. She died Sept 13, 2006 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie.
Lois was a homemaker, manager of a jewelry store, and best known for her cooking at Cahill's Dairy Maid. She was always known for inviting people to stay for dinner.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, four brothers, son Marion Edward Cahill, and grandson Kale Powell. She is survived by daughter Shirley Cahill Powell and husband A. R. "Bob" of Guthrie; two sons, Richard Giles Cahill and wife Phillys of Broken Arrow, Ok., and Gary Lee Cahill and wife, Dianne, of Katy, Texas; nine grandchildren, Janna Pierson and husband Brian; Marsh Powell and wife, Nancy; Douglas Powell and wife, Nancy; Celane Selvaggio and husband Frank; Courtney Moskul and husband Mark, Craig Cahill and wife, Sherry, Karen Johnson, Cari Morgan and husband, Blake, and Aaryn Cahill, 12 great-grandchildren Shana Bench, Brandon Pierson, Douglas Pierson, Tyle Powell, Brooke Powell, Paige Powell, Matt Selvaggo, Luke Selvaggio, Cody Cahill, Colton Cahill, Ella Moskul, and Ava Moskul, and great-Great granddaughter Makenna Bench.
Visitation for friends and family will be held until 8 p.m. tonight and tomorrow from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
