Ethel Pauline Branch, age 107, passed away on June 7, 2016 at her home in Guthrie, OK.
Ethel was born in Yukon, OK to Noah G. and Mary T. (Harlow) Lynch on August 26, 1908. She went to school at Deer Creek. She married Clarence Samuel Branch on September 25, 1926 in Edmond, OK. She was a housewife and homemaker. Ethel loved to work crossword puzzles and sew.
Ethel is preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence in 1987, son Vernon Branch, daughter Carolyn Joy Hall, sister Louise Bennett, six grandsons, and three granddaughters.
She is survived by her children Norma Lee Phillips of Stillwater, OK, Mary Jo Stockwell and husband Billy Don of Bartlesville, OK, Clarence Samuel Branch and wife Barbara of El Reno, OK, Lester Clifford Branch and wife Marilyn of Guthrie, OK, Janis Pauline Hunt of Stillwater, OK, Charles Thomas Branch and wife Georgia of Guthrie, OK, Bennie R. Branch and wife Debbie of Guthrie, OK, Judy Ann Thomas and husband Lowell of Stillwater, OK, and Joyce Ethel Hunt and husband Terry of Stillwater, OK. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 10, 2016 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Guthrie, OK with Pastor Tom Branch of Bellview Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK officiating. Burial will follow at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie, OK. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home in Guthrie, OK.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M and Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.
